Turning

Turning is a machining operation performed on a lathe in which the workpiece rotates at high speeds while a fixed cutting tool removes material.

Welding is a fabrication process whereby two or more parts are fused together by means of heat, pressure or both forming a join as the parts cool.

Cutting

Cutting is a technique where the operator moves a material (workpiece) such as wood and the tool in relation to each other in order to shape the workpiece into the desired form.
